ESPNews live expletive

Categories: , , ,

Update: 7-3-06:
The video is back. Who knows how long it will be around, but enjoy it while it lasts.

I would imagine that much to the chagrin of female anchor Danyelle Sargent, this ESPNews clip from last night has found its way onto the Internet, never to be fully recovered and eradicated. She apparently has issues with either Gerry McNamara or the Spurs/Suns game. I can't imagine any situation in which swearing, with that many cameras and microphones around, would even enter your thought process. To be fair, I am assuming it was Danyelle Sargent that said the F-word. It could have been (and would make more sense if it was) someone offscreen or a producer in the booth. Maybe the person who does Felicity Huffman's job on "Sports Night". Props to Robert Flores for not missing a beat. I think this is implied, but the clip is NSFW-language.

**Added 12:45pm. I am so dense. I just watched the clip again and paid attentnion enough to understand what happened. The entire Big East clip that interrupted Flores' live narration was taped material from an earlier broadcast, meaning neither Sargent or Flores was talking. They probably looked at each other and shrugged before Sargent yelled out "what the f--k was that!!" not realizing that her mic was still on. So no props to Robert Flores for not missing a beat.**
